✨Are you thriving or just surviving?

(1. Number One:) Stop filling your mind with negativity.

Do you realize even watching the nightly news affects your spirit?

I stopped watching the news YEARS ago, while some of my family members consume it multiple times a day.

Sometimes, they’ll say, “Did you hear about this terrible tragedy?” And I say, “NOPE! And I don’t want to!”

Why? Because there’s nothing I can do about it.

I am doing everything I can to lead a peaceful life and help others be successful and live their dreams.

I don’t need to fill my mind and spirit with things that I can do nothing about.

Trust me– if it’s important enough for you to know? People will tell you about it. Otherwise, focus your energy on positive things…

Reflect on this truth: “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” -Philippians 4:8-9 MSG

When you glow on the inside, you can’t help but reflect it outwards!

After all, the job of the media is to feed you more and more drama because they know THAT’S what sells, right? How many uplifting stories do you ever hear? They are rare, indeed.

There’s no need to purposely make your spirit upset (and that includes stalking your exes on Facebook.) You’ve got better things to go after, girl!

You want some pseudo drama? Go watch Grey’s Anatomy once a week. ?

Instead of spending your time worrying about what you can’t control, focus that energy on business-building tasks and watch your paycheck go up and up!

(2. Number Two:) Work on your mindset.

You may not realize how much your paycheck is affected by having a “broke mentality,” but it truly is.

If you spent your childhood watching your parents struggle for money, that had a HUGE effect on how YOU view money.

Believe it or not, there IS an abundance of money and resources out there available to all of us.

You don’t have to live in fear that you’ll run out of people to talk to or that everybody else will sign up all the distributors. It’s not gonna happen.

There are new people born every day who will benefit from what you have to offer! Don’t be scared!

Remember, the world loses out when you don’t share what you have to offer.

(3. Number Three:) Invest in YOUR success with quality training

Okay, let’s be real– I would LOVE to welcome you into my #InstaHappyRich family of lovely direct sellers learning to market their biz on Instagram, BUT whether you choose to work with me or someone else, please understand that until YOU value yourself and your biz enough to invest not only time but money into your success, trying to get by on free blog after free blog or free ebook after free ebook is only going to keep you on the hamster wheel.

I’m the biggest advocate I know of learning.

And I’ve observed that if you’re blown away by someone’s free resources, 95% of the time, their paid programs are going to take you to a whole ‘nother planet!

Think about THIS: what if your neurosurgeon told you he didn’t go to paid medical school, but just read a few books from the library for free. Would you trust him to operate on you? Probably not…

If you don’t value yourself enough to invest what you can REALLY afford, what makes you think anyone else will value you enough to choose to work with you?

They won’t.

I’m not saying to go out and hire a business coach for thousands of dollars. I’m saying to start where you ARE and STOP making excuses.

You CAN find a way to put aside a bit of money every month to invest in a program or training that you feel will propel you to the next level.

You KNOW that it TAKES money to make money.

Your starter kit wasn’t free. Your marketing materials aren’t free. And learning skills that will teach you how to REALLY bring people in is not free either.

(4. Number Four:) Stay productive– not busy.

Now, if you ARE the kind who has invested in your learning, first CONGRATULATIONS! and I am SO PROUD of you! Like, seriously– here’s a proud mama hug from me to you! ?

BUT, you can buy a million dollars of training material and if you do nothing with it, you will stay stagnant.

You know what happens to stagnant water? It grows bitter. (Not that you’ll necessarily become a bitter person, BUT, if you’re not making any money, you’ll probably start to get a little snarky and frustrated in your interactions.)

It’s time to grow better, not become bitter.

So please, I don’t care if you have to watch a training 20 times– IMPLEMENT!

It doesn’t matter if it takes you one month to put into practice what you’ve learned or one year. Keep going and implement new things you’re learning each week!

Staying “busy” by definition is working yourself to death 60 hours a week “learning,” but not actually DOING any income-producing activities.

Choose to be productive instead just 10 hours a week. (Here’s a post to show you what looks like!) If you’re doing a training, spend 2 hours doing that and the rest of the week increasing your revenue with ACTION!

Even the Bible says, “Faith without deeds is dead.”

I’ll post the passage because it’s really applicable to what I just shared with you. (Even if you don’t believe in God, just please try to receive the message here.)

“What good is it if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:14-17 NIV

I really hope these tips have given you some fuel to make the changes in your biz RIGHT NOW!

I believe in you so much (otherwise, I wouldn’t wasting my time writing this.)

I want you to succeed and make lots of money so you can take care of your family and help lots of people.
