How to share your biz without being a spam monster

✨Oh no! That dreaded, scared feeling…

Where you put up a promo post and you feel like you’re annoying people by having a business, and you’re not sure what to say, so you list some benefits your company gave you about your product and ask people to buy and join your team…

I can’t be the ONLY one who ever felt that before: like I had no idea what to say, so I just copied what I saw other people doing.

You DO know you’re a TOTAL Instagram Rockstar already for hanging with me here, reading & investing time into your business, right? Well, you ARE. ?

And that scared feeling I mentioned? Well, one of the things you’ve told me is that you’re just not sure how to share your business on Instagram and social media without feeling like a spam monster.

Hey, I get it. It’s hard to know what to post when your company and upline are telling you to post a bunch of “Join my team!” or “Get on this opportunity call of a lifetime” posts… Eww times two.

Trust me… nobody likes those.

Just think: if YOU were NOT with your company, would YOU like to see those kinds of in-your-face, gross-feeling ads in YOUR feed? Probably not.

I don’t want you to struggle with the fear that you’re annoying people by sharing your enthusiasm about your business.

I know that you feel like EVERYONE needs your opportunity, and that may be true because heck, I think everyone SHOULD want to better themselves and their situation and not have to be ruled by a 9-5.

However, not everyone has the strength to be an entrepreneur. They just don’t.

So, you’ve got to hone in on appealing to the kind of people that will WANT to take your opportunity by the horns and RUN with it.

I know you don’t want to waste your time trying to convince someone to work the business. That’s the worst.

So, let’s figure out some ways you can post about your opportunity with sheer awesomeness. ?

How to Share Your Biz on Instagram without Spamming

Every time you post, see it through your ideal prospect’s eyes.

It’s really that simple.

Jump into their shoes and think: “would this appeal to me if I were them?”

You can even think about what got you to want to join your company in the first place.

There was probably a really human element somehow that touched you, not just the facts about the company.

If you can hone in on that, you’ll be golden.

Talk to people like they’re humans with emotions, desires, fears & stories of their own. It will make ALL the difference in the world.

Don’t ever talk to people like they’re dumb for not joining you.

People are sometimes just NOT ready for something like entrepreneurship, but in the future, they might be!

Or they could have a friend that would be perfect for what you do and if you establish great rapport, they might refer you to said amazing person.

I’ve noticed the kind of “opportunity” posts that get the best response are the ones that tell a story.

For example, instead of a picture of your product that looks like it was ripped from your company catalog, how about trying a picture with you and your child at the park with a caption that says: “I am so thankful to be able to go out with my son today because of my business. Can’t wait to share this freedom with more & more people!”

That’s gonna grab some attention.  (For even more promo post ideas, check out your new secret weapon Cash Captions.)

There are SO many people putting up random quotes with NO heart or effort in their captions and it just seems very phoned-in. You are SO MUCH BETTER than that, girl.

Tell your followers what’s going on in a spunky way like you’re chatting up your best friend.

With these kinds of posts, you’re bound to garner some attention and pique some curiosity.

The more questions people ask, the more opportunities you have to engage with them and see how you can help.

Be a servant leader, always on the lookout for opportunities to provide the change someone needs.

I truly hope these tips help you grab some ideas on what to post about your biz on Instagram without being a spam monster!
